it is okay to keep a labrador and German shepherd together as long as they both get along and if they don't when they start to growl at each other separate them aventully they… will get used to each others company! don't worry dogs can sence your worry!
Shepards are strong, brave and intelligent; labs are loyal, energetic and easily trainable. Could be a really good mix....
They are called Euro Mountain Sheparnese, go to this website to see them: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/e/euromountainsheparnese.htm (DISCLAIMER - I DO NOT OWN THIS WEBSITE OR A…NY OF IT'S CONTENTS)
Yes, if you want a strong dog.
Every single breed, in fact every single mammal on this earth has both male and female of each gender. You don't have all male dogs being a German Shepherd and no other breed …or else they'll all be extinct.
A male German Shepherd and a female German Shepherd make a German Shepherd
Il cane di Pastore tedesco
a male and female german shepherd.
German Shepherd sheds more than Labrador. Labrador sheds seasonally and its coat is short and thick. German Shepherd sheds throughout the year and sheds heavily during spring… and fall. Its has a moderately long and dense coat.
The first heat cycle for a female dog would be between 6-24 months. If she doesn't have her first cycle by then, you take a trip to the vet. And it doesn't necessarily matter …what kind of dog it is to have a certain heat cycle. Hope this helps!
Dogs that are mixed may occasionally have instincts that contradict each other, which can create a very confused dog. However, if the owner is responsible and is able to co…ntrol his dog, then the Akita/German Shepherd mix should not have a bigger tendency towards aggression than any other dog. When seeing an Akita/German Shepherd doesn't wonder about whether the dog is aggressive but whether if the owner is responsible.
generally no!! the mix breed with G shep often look beautiful but sometimes are of uncertain temper. also being larger dogs can be difficult to control if the behaviour starts… to go wrong. do not go for this mix. Yes I know lots of people will reply that their dog is a mix and is pure sweetness and light, but in my 'expert 'experience there are too many problems with G Shep cross bred dogs.
Ours looks like a yellow lab. He does not look like a German Shepard at all. But he's the size of a German Shepard. He's only 60 pounds so those that don't know think he's a t…iny lab. But I guess I'd rather it be a tiny lab then a German Shepard built like a lab.
On their last years, they will grow about 3ft tall on four legs. German Shepards seem to grow faster than Labradors though.
GS is a better dog than labrador
